A recent order for six External DuroWipers Class 90 pantograph, will go to Excellift, a Malaysia based lift/crane/material handling company. The systems will be installed to two crane cabins for use on Oil Platforms, each requiring a wiper system for one front and two side windows.

EU Directive
ATEX is a European Union directive from the European Committee for Standardization, it’s a gold safety standard that covers: “Equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.”
Under the directive, if you are a supplier to the oil and gas or mining industries – or if you operate directly in them – you will be required to prove the equipment you supply is ATEX certified.
ATEX requirements covering the zones (Zone 0, 1 and 2 for Gas, and Zone 20 21 22 for dust). Category 2GD Ex d IIB + H2, IIIC for classified zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 is in accordance with the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU.
DuroWipers are designed to operate in hazardous areas due to the presence of gas, vapour or dust. It is designed to work in all types of industrial machinery with a 24V and maximum operating current of 3A.
DuroWipers can work in an ambient temperature range from -30ºC + 60ºC allowing it to work in hot areas with aggressive ambient conditions.
